Aligned Leadership Using the Three Centers of Intelligence
Over the years, many leaders have found their way to me and my work. Through circumstance, I came to specialize in working with progressive-minded leaders who appreciate straight talk and want to be challenged in ways others in their organization may be afraid to bring forward.
My leadership coaching is for founders, CEOs, executives and leaders who don’t fit the conventional mold. You know there is more to leadership than strategy and results. You want to lead successfully and stay true to yourself while you do it. I help you grow and mature as a person, using the challenges you face as opportunities to sharpen your instincts, deepen your wisdom and keep your inner integrity intact.
Based in Berkeley, I offer executive and CEO coaching to leaders in San Francisco and across the Bay Area, in person or online.

- You make high-stakes decisions and want to trust your inner knowing, not just the data

Real Transformation
This isn’t a conventional coaching program. I will challenge you to step up for yourself in ways that will change your life if and when you are ready to take it seriously. Sessions are practical and personal: we work with what you are facing right now, as the present moment is where transformation can occur.
Sessions are available online or in person in Berkeley. Along with standard sessions, I offer longer 1.5-hour and 2-hour sessions, and day-long intensives for leaders who want focused, deeper work. Everything is private and confidential.Read more about me.
The Three Centers of Intelligence
Daoist tradition describes three centers of intelligence in the body, called the three dantian. Most leaders are trained to live almost entirely in the thinking mind, which draws on only a small part of their intelligence. Aligned leadership comes from bringing all three back into alignment and synergistically working together:
- Head: the clarity of a larger vision, intuitive sense and understanding
- Heart: your relationships with others, with yourself and with the world. Being deeply connected to what matters, and bringing openness and kindness forward. Living in an energy of Openness
- Gut: the animal instinctual knowing that tells you when something is right, or not. Having healthy boundaries, true confidence and a steady inner anchor
